The Tale of the Ceiling Fan

Posted by KAT Monday, September 7, 2009

Once upon a time, there I was, someone who desperately needed Ceiling Fans, and with all the hustle and bustle going on in my life, I didn't get a chance to buy them or have them installed before summer was over!

So, here we are now at the start of the fall season, and I'm thinking that I had better purchase them now, and have them installed so that they can help with the heat this winter. I know that a low running Ceiling Fan can distribute cool air or the heat in the house, therefore saving more energy. In the winter, the heater doesn't have to be set as high if you have your fan running on the lowest speed, and on the reverse setting, to take the heat from the ceiling (because heat rises) and distribute the heat back down and into the rooms.

So, I went to the internet to the only place capable of fulfilling my needs, Hansen Wholesale Ceiling Fans, to see which ones I could purchase that would help me this winter, next summer and for all the coming seasons in my life. And Oh My Gosh! I also found a lovely electric fireplace for my newly renovated living room. I am so excited! They have so many lovely things here at Hansen Wholesale that I couldn't stop browsing....

But, back to the fans, I absolutely loved the Casablanca fan shown above in white, with a light in it. This will go in the center of the room, and I think that the white color will not be so distracting, and make the room appear larger. A big plus is that it has a light in it, and will provide lighting for the room in addition to circulating the air.

Now, I just have to decide on a ceiling fan for my bedroom and the kitchen too! This will take some time and planning, because I need them to be just right. I have to take into account the color, the blade size, lighting or no lighting, and the hang of the fan. If I get one that hangs too low, some unlucky visitor may get beheaded!!

Till Next Time,
Take Care,
Kat

  4. Fanimation ceiling fans kept me cool this summer --- and stylish, with that hip single blade design: very cool, if you get what I mean. :-) Fanimation ceiling fans
