Okay, so I have had major setbacks, and big time computer issues....
One of my dearest friends lives in Phoenix Arizona, and she is like me where she never complains about how hot it is!! We always got along well, because we seemed to always be cold.
Anyway, she called me a few weeks ago to say that her car had just died and she didn't know how on earth she would be able to get another one. She would have to be looking for Used Cars, and pretty quickly, too! You see, her ex-husband had ruined her credit pretty badly during their marriage, and after the marriage ended, she found out that all the cards they held jointly, put her in a credit shambles. She seemed so distraught, not over her marriage being over, but because her credit rating now stunk, and with her needing a new vehicle to get to work, she didn't know what she would do?
She called last week to say that she is sure she is getting a car now, thanks to a great company called Drive Time. This is a company located in Phoenix (and around Arizona) that offers their own financing and is geared towards people with less than wonderful credit.
She said this was like a godsend for her, when she found them, they offer competitive rates and she took the instant online approval thing on their website, and as long as she has a job that they can verify, she will qualify!! How great does that sound?? I am so happy for her!! She really needs this car, and it is nice to know that there are some dealers out there who will help someone out, even if their credit rating isn't good. This was not her fault, so to be penalized by every lender who thinks she is a credit risk, is just not fair. Thank goodness she found DriveTime, and it seems like it was just in the nick of time too!!
Till Next Time,

How are you dealing with the current economic crisis and having enough money for Christmas this year?
Oh my gosh! Now my washing machine has gone on the fritz. This has not been a good year for me, let me tell you. First it was the broken heater, then the computer that had to be replaced, lots of small things in between and now it is the washing machine!
Now I have to go look at washing machines this weekend to try to replace this broken one. I am going to do a lot of comparison shopping, but something tells me that I might find the best deal at Sam's Club, as usual. They have some gorgeous front load washers, and they are reasonably priced. I know because I have looked at them before when I was just dreaming about a new washer and didn't actually need one. A sort of window shopping, put it on the wish list kind of thing. But now, I really need to get one. I love the one I posted a picture of above, mostly because it is my favorite color of red, and also because it is a front loader, and I have never had that before. I still have the old fashioned lid that opens on the top thing. This one looks so much more stylish, don't you think?
I also have to consider space when I am getting my new washer and might have to go with one of those compact washing machines. I don't have a big house, and have thought about getting an apartment sized set to try to save space. I will have to look around, like I said, and weigh all the options first.
Oh well,
Till Next Time,
Take care,
Kat

We have a great new article over on the magazine, The Angels Weekly, called LOVE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT….
This is a snippet from the magazine photo shoot that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart did for Harper's Bazaar.
Damn! They are HOT!
I have added a video of the photo shoot for you to see, and please feel free to drool if you want to......I did....LOL
This was done to promote the movie "New Moon" and it's upcoming release on November 20th. I am so excited and can hardly wait. Although they aren't dressed in their typical movie attire, I kind of like this glam look that they have going on. Especially Kristen, she rocks the glam look!
But personally, I will always be focused on Rob.....I can't help it, and these photos don't make it any easier!!
Please enjoy the clips below......

I've said it before and I will say it again, if you are looking for web site hosting, you have got to check out the Web Hosting Geeks site. They offer the best of the best, and offer consumer reviews of many different sites, and the ratings that we, the average customer have given the hosting sites, along with their own reviews and ratings.
If you are seriously thinking about switching to a hosted blog so you can have your own .COM, then this is the place to go to check out the benefits and the pitfalls of the many different hosting companies out there. Without them you will be lost, and may end up with a cheap web hosting company, but one that doesn't fit your needs. You have to consider many different things before switching to a hosted site.
If for example, your site will be loaded with many graphics, you will want to make sure that the hosting company you are going with can handle that, and that the bandwidth will be sufficient for your needs. If you are going to need many pages for your site, you want to make sure that you aren't limited to 1 or 5 pages with the host that you go with.
Also check out the down times of the sites you are considering. Some companies offer a cheaper rate, but their server goes down quite often, making your site unavailable to your viewing public. Sometimes, cheaper is not always better.
You might also want to check out the Web Hosting Geeks blog to see all the content they provide, and all the tips and hints that they give to us. You can check out the different types of web hosting to see what type would be best suited for your site. There is a lot of information to absorb here, but it is good information, and content that you can't get anywhere else.
They also have an awards section where they have listed the best in many categories including, best blog hosting, where they list the best hosting site for blogs, or best e-commerce hosting, where they will tell you the best hosting site for your business. There are many other awards here and you should look them over depending on your needs, to see if that would help you make your decision for a hosting company.
I will always suggest the Web Hosting Geeks website to anyone that I know that is thinking of switching from a free blog or site, to a hosted one. It is the best way to make an informed decision when choosing a web hosting company.
I hope this helps you!
Till Next Time,
Take care,

Do you love Twilight, and/or Vampires? If you do, have you read the "House of Night Series"? This is an amazing series of books written by a mother and daughter team, P.C. and Kristin Cast, and they take on the job of creating a world of teen vampyres and all the problems and angst that they go through.
You can preview a great song and the trailer for Tempted by clicking here.
"Tempted" is the name of the 6th book in the series, and in case you missed the others, or are just looking to start the series from the beginning, they are: Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed, and Hunted. If you have never read any of these books, I will tell you that you are truly missing out!! Although they are written mostly from a teen's perspective, they are really good books. They will keep you engrossed and wanting more!! P.C. and Kristen have created a nice balance of page turning suspense and romantic moments, with battles and just dealing with life.
You can listen to the first chapter of TEMPTED on audio, by clicking here. It is sure to get your curiosity peaked, and you will want to get this book as soon as you can!!
They were asked how they got to collaborate on these books, and P.C. (the mom) answered, "I've taught high school since 1993, so I have a pretty good handle on teen-speak, but I realized as I was trying to write first person from a sixteen year olds point of view that I was getting stuck on what should have been pretty simple word usage questions. Well, I kept yelling down the hallway from my office to where Kristin was "innocently" (her word!) watching MTV and asking her questions. After I did this several times I decided it was ridiculous! That I should just see if Kristin wanted to co-author with me. She said yes - my agent loved the idea - and we took off from there.
I write the draft and then I send it to Kristin for her rewrite. I often leave her notes in the text as I'm writing, as well as blanks I ask her to fill in. When she gets done I read the manuscript again before sending it off to our editor in New York. It sounds complicated, but it's really not."
The mom of the duo, P.C. Cast, is an award-winning fantasy and paranormal romance author, as well as an experienced speaker and teacher. She lives and teaches in Oklahoma. The daughter, Kristin Cast, has won awards for her poetry and journalism. She also lives in Oklahoma, where she attends the University of Tulsa as a communications major.
You can go to the House of Night Fan page on Facebook Page, by clicking the title, and you can follow them and read all about it, or just join other people in discussing this well anticipated book. Tempted will be released on October 27th, 2009, and the fans are getting rabid!! Everyone is anxious and can hardly wait!!

I watched last week's episode of MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, and Shauvon Torres who is one of the contestants, suffered an injury where she claimed she burst her breast implant after she belly flopped into the water while doing a challenge.
Now, she is not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I felt bad for her because she really looked like she was in pain. And there is always the possibility of injury to the chest after surgery.
She was rushed by ambulance to the hospital for xrays and a CAT scan that revealed she was just badly bruised and had some muscle, tissue and nerve damage in her chest. The doctors advised her to leave the show so that she could recover. She was not going to be able to compete in any more challenges.
"Me being hurt and plunging into the water, I knew I'd done something to my body on the inside," she said. "I couldn't explain what it was, but I knew there was something bad."
So that got me thinking, why do so many women want breast augmentation to enlarge their breasts when they usually don't look natural and there are complications some times?? On the show, so many of the other women were worried after this incident because they have implants too!!
Before I ever did anything like that, I would do a lot of research, and scan the Before and After Photos to see if this is what I really wanted. But to me, I just don't understand the whole concept of the big boobs look?? But it is very common now a days, and women are getting breast augmentation done a lot younger. I guess, to each his or her own!!
Take care,
Kat

Please bear with me while I fix a few things.....
I wanted to change the template here, what do you think so far??? But now I have to re-do things, so be patient with the changes....
I like this template, but it will take some getting used to, and I have to put my widgets back.
Let me know what you think...

Kat
