I watched last week's episode of MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, and Shauvon Torres who is one of the contestants, suffered an injury where she claimed she burst her breast implant after she belly flopped into the water while doing a challenge.
Now, she is not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I felt bad for her because she really looked like she was in pain. And there is always the possibility of injury to the chest after surgery.
She was rushed by ambulance to the hospital for xrays and a CAT scan that revealed she was just badly bruised and had some muscle, tissue and nerve damage in her chest. The doctors advised her to leave the show so that she could recover. She was not going to be able to compete in any more challenges.
"Me being hurt and plunging into the water, I knew I'd done something to my body on the inside," she said. "I couldn't explain what it was, but I knew there was something bad."
So that got me thinking, why do so many women want breast augmentation to enlarge their breasts when they usually don't look natural and there are complications some times?? On the show, so many of the other women were worried after this incident because they have implants too!!
Before I ever did anything like that, I would do a lot of research, and scan the Before and After Photos to see if this is what I really wanted. But to me, I just don't understand the whole concept of the big boobs look?? But it is very common now a days, and women are getting breast augmentation done a lot younger. I guess, to each his or her own!!
Take care,
Kat
I only hopped here from Facebook by clicking the titties to get a better look at the titties.
I feel sorry for Shauvon now - she must have gone through a lot of pain - before and now too !
Kat, do you remember when mobile phones first came out and they were these huge things that were super expensive and only the high falootin' had them? Well, that is how I see plastic surgery especially when it comes to breast implants. You see way back when it was so expensive and really you could only go to LA or NY to get it done. It was for the privileged few. Now it is more mainstream and thus more acceptable. People want to feel good about themselves and this is how they do it. Others might get the Botox injections. I figure it you have the money and feel it is something that will make you feel better about yourself then do it. Just make sure that is the only thing that is causing you to have a bad self-image...then you end up like Joan Rivers! lol
I've done it, and I love it. There definitely ARE complication risks - but if you do all of your research and make the right choices, you lower your risk rate tremendously.
We all take risks every day but just doing things like getting into our cars or crossing the street. The likelihood of somethin happening when you do either of those two things is much greater than if you get a boob job. So basically you have to figure out if the small risk is worth the reward. For a lot of women, fuller breasts most definitely are.
But it's not for everyone!
Good dispatch and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you for your information.
